About our podcasts

The CSMN Podcast Project is a part of a continued effort to improve public relations and strengthen public outreach. In the months ahead we plan to publish a large part of our many lectures and talks as audio files on the CSMN web page. The Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature at the University of Oslo is a publicly funded endeavour, and we consider making great research available to larger audiences a significant part of our mandate as a Centre of Excellence.

Making publicly available world class research is only possible due to the generosity of CSMN's invited speakers; we urge everyone to respect the holders' intellectual property rights to the content of all talks. You are free to use the files for educational purposes, but we ask you to credit the speakers if you quote or refer to their work. Any commercial redistribution is considered a violation of property rights, and we urge you to contact us if you are unsure about what limitations exists on the use of the files.

The audio files can be downloaded from the web site or streamed live. If the podcast won't download automatically, right click on the 'download' link and choose the option 'save file as'. Please check the site frequently for the latest public talks and updates. You also have the option of subscribing to the podcast service via an RSS-feed and we hope to soon be available on iTunes.

The CSMN Podcast Project is founded and run by Georg Kjøll, Nicholas Allott, Timothy Chan and Lina Tosterud, with the help of the University of Oslo's Centre for IT (USIT). For any queries please do not hestiate to get in touch.
